porcelained Asked:My step sister is a freshman in high school and is struggling with her sexual orientation, my parents are very less than understanding about it and I really can't talk to her about it because I have no idea what to tell her. Any advice on how to approach her without offending her?
The best thing you can do is be there and listen. Don’t push something she’s not ready to talk about, but do let her know you’re there! She might not respond right away, but she’ll know she has someone when she IS ready.
