I work in a bookstore. Got talking to a male customer about comics and mentioned I was enjoying the new Batwoman series. He replied: "But she's a woman, what kind of super hero is that?" My jaw hit the floor. Gutted I couldn't think of a snappy comeback there and then, but one week later and we have a whole display of female fronted graphic novels. Fight the good fight, yo!
