I'm not religious and I'm not saving myself for marriage, I'm completely open to the idea of having sex and I'm completely comfortable with my sexuality, but I also don't want to have sex with someone I don't respect and admire. Is there any advice you can give me? Or am I making a big deal out of nothing? (P.S. I love your blog!)

The only advice I can give is that you are TOTALLY FINE. Some people start really young and some start much later in life! I knew plenty of people in university who hadn’t had sex yet. That’s okay. You’re honestly probably avoiding a lot of disappointing encounters by not just having sex just to have sex. Give yourself time! It’ll happen when you’re ready, when you meet someone you want to share yourself with. Don’t be so hard on yourself - 20 is still really young. You’ve got a lot of years left to play around with.
