Hello! I have put two sketch covers left over from HeroesCon up on my Etsy. $40 each, shipping is $5 to Canada and $7 everywhere else. Grab one!

Oh hey I wrote this!

Getting to write the ~canon~ origin of Marceline’s guitar was one of the greatest joys I’ve experienced thus far in comics. Plus, Zack and I got to stick in a reference to Bram Stoker’s Dracula and Eiko Ishioka.

You can buy dis book here or at your local comic shop!

TCAF is coming this weekend, May 10-11!!!!!! I’m on the second floor, tables 255-261.
This is my favourite show all year and I don’t care who knows it. I will be tabling with so many awesome friends. I will have all sorts of things with me: Prints, originals, tote bags, buttons, sketch covers, Adventure Time & Bravest Warriors comics, copies of Seeing Red!
I’m also on these panels:
Saturday 11am-12pm: What Do Women Want? Writing Comics for a Female Audience
We’ve seen a million panels about “women working in comics”, but what about the women who read them, and targeting women as a consumer base? How does the Female Gaze apply vs. the Male Gaze, what is the power of female fandom in the industry? In this engaging discussion led by Chromatic Press’ Editor Lianne Sentar, creators Laura Lee Gulledge (Page by Paige), Kate Leth (Adventure Time), Joan Reilly (The Big Feminist BUT), and Noelle Stevenson (LumberJanes) explore what female audiences are looking for, and how creators and publishers can target them with their work.
(Marriott Bloor Yorkville - Marriott 50)
Sunday 4:00pm-5:00pm: Adventure Time
Join the artists and writers behind the Adventure Time cartoon show and comics, as they participate in a fun drawing competition featuring characters and situations from Adventure Time! Drawers Michael DeForge, Becky Driesdadt, Kate Leth, Jesse Moynihan, and Ryan North (all of whom work on Adventure Time) will be drawing against one another live on stage, and will be inviting folks up from the audience to participate as well! Hosted by Frank Gibson.

COME OUT!

delgrosso:

LOOK YOU GUYS! I commissioned a drawing of Finn from the supernaturally talented and epically swoon-worthy Kate Leth (aka kateordie), and it arrived this morning!
It’s an amazing piece and I couldn’t be happier with it. It’s gonna get framed straightaway and go up on my office wall. Thanks, Kate!

Aw yeah! I’m so glad you like it! :)

Adventure Time Annual 2014 #1
Man, Becky and Frank’s Adventure Time Annual 2014 #1 from BOOM! is so fantastic, let’s hope they put out one every month. This horizontal collection is out today, and features the above variant cover by Lorena Gomez.

This issue is AMAZING. Also, there are a bunch of backup strips by my Bravest Warriors artist Ian McGinty, and one of them includes Lady Lemongrab, who I got to create! This is very cool and exciting. Plus, Becky and Frank. What do I even need to say? They’re perfect.
