My roommate Mike Holmes is going to be at the Toronto Comics Art Festival this weekend! He is bringing a special awesome secret surprise for Kate Beaton of Hark, A Vagrant! They have a studio together and sometimes she comes to our house to watch Lost and I try not to squeal like an infant.
Also there will be Ryan North of Dinosaur Comics, Rich Stevens of Diesel Sweeties, as well as total babes Cameron Stewart and Michael Cho. Joey Comeau & Emily Horne, even Jeffrey Rowland will be there! All of these people are pretty magical. I wish I was going! I could have gone. Next year for SURE.
