It’s that time of year again! Coming up in just a few short weeks is Ladies Night at the comic shop I work for. It’s an event I help host with a crew of awesome babes wherein female artists, fans, staff and creators of all kinds get together to eat snacks, gossip about comics and geek out with the best of them. It is a sincerely great time. If you live in Halifax, come out! If you live in Fredericton, I’ll be traveling up to help with your very own the following weekend (March 2). If you live elsewhere, get your comic shop to organize one! It’s the most fun you can have, pretty much.

I can finally tell you the thing I put all my love into for the Adventure Time comics! Coming October 2012 (very close to Halloween, perfect) in Marceline and the Scream Queens #4 is my very own backup strip! I worked very hard on this and it is about (dun dun dun…) Lumpy Space Princess! Also, another less-known Princess? Oh gosh maybe you will have to buy it and find out!!
Call or text or tweet or kiss your local comic retailer and order yourself a copy! I contributed two whole pages of brand new original Princess-powered comic for you and your eyes. I hope you will like it!
I’ve put 3 new mini-prints up for sale in my Etsy shop! They measure 4.25x5.5 inches and are a nice little add-on to any order at only $2.50 with any other print or comic! Hot diggidy! I even put up some copies of Kate or Die 3, if you’re missing it from your collection.

I’ve just sent these 5 things off to the printer to have ready for my very first show! Come by my table (I don’t know the number/location yet, but will post it as soon as I do) and pick up some fun stuff! I’ll also have copies of my brand-spanking-new 32-page comic! The boss asked for submissions for designs for the sidewalk outside our comic shop. This is mine. Adventure Time is the fun times comic of the summer, and how can I resist painting some subtle lesbianism for the children? Come on!
I’m crazy about the Adventure Time comic and how much fun the characters are to draw. I need to watch more of the show, clearly, because I am pretty into Marceline.
